Butafort

Pharmacological properties: Butafort is a complex drug for normalization and correction metabolic processes.

Butafosfan is a phosphonic acid derivate. It has tonic, adaptogenic action, it stimulates metabolic reactions and organism resistance, provides growth and development.

L-carnitine is amino acid which transports fatty acids across mitochondrial membrane and provides some pool of coenzyme A in all types of cells. L-carnitine has power anabolic action: stimulates muscles protein synthesis, mobilize lipids from adipose depot (liver, muscles, adipose tissue), provides growth and development. L-carnitine increase feed intake, stimulates secretory function of digestive system and normalize water-ionic balance. L-carnitine decrease apoptosis intensity of all types of cells, provides income of organic acids and keton bodies into the citric acid cycle what prevents development of ketosis and acidosis. L-carnitine provides tonus increasing of skeletal and hearts muscles, accelerates rapid rehabilitation after exercise stress.

Cobalamine (vitamin В₁₂) is a methylation factor as cofactor of many enzymes of hemopoesis and organic acids metabolism, has a lipotropic action.

Administration: Butafort administer for cattle, sheep and goats, camels, horse, swine, dogs as a hepatoprotector, adaptogen, anabolic drug, for correction of metabolic processes, prophylaxis of anemia, ketosis, acidosis, postpartum disorder, functional status increasing, etc.

Dosage: Butafort should be administered by the intramuscular, subcutaneous, intravenous or intraperitoneal route once per day during 3-5 days in next doses:

Cattle, horses, camels – 10-25 ml per animal,

Sheep and goats, pigs – 2,5-10 ml per animal

Calves, foals, colts – 5-12 ml per animal,

Lambs, kids, suckling piglets – 1-2,5 ml per animal

Dogs – 0,5-5 ml per animal

Contraindications: individual hypersensitivity to drugs ingredients. Do not mix in one syringe with other drugs.

Withdraw periods: meat and milk production – 0 days.

Packing: 100 ml amber glass vessels.

Storage: protect from light, 10-25⁰С.
